The blossoms ride atop a tight, compact mound of blue-green foliage. Use it to edge sunny borders and pathways. Easy to grow in a Part Sun to Sun site with average, to sandy, well drained soil. Does not like a site that is wet over winter. Zone 4-9. Plant in rock gardens or particularly useful as edging plants in the front of a sunny border or walkway with sedum, gypsophila repens, creeping phlox, short yarrows, and alpine aster.
