Ferny, gray-green, deeply divided foliage and ever blooming clusters of tubular flowers on outward shooting thin pinkish stems. Tolerates more sun and summer heat than other bleeding hearts. Partial shade, morning sun recommended, in evenly moist, humus rich soil. Will not go dormant if given adequate moisture. Native to Western US. Zone 3-9.
Deer resistant, attracts pollinators.
