Fern Athyrium Godzilla

As its name implies, Godzilla towers above other Painted Ferns.  An amazing array of silver, purple and green fronds make this a winner.  Forms a massive, arching clump.  It is best in filtered shade - direct sun will burn the foliage.   Zone 4-10.  Prefers a moist, rich well-drained area in light to heavy shade. Easy care ground cover. Plant in woodland garden or shady borders with woodland phlox, jack-in-pulpit, hostas, tiarella, and toadlily.  Drought tolerant. Deer-resistance is excellent.
