Geum Triflorum Prairie Smoke

This is a prairie native. Nodding pink flowers give way to feathery seed heads that resemble puffs of smoke. Does best in well drained soil in full sun or light shade. This geum does well in the front of perennial borders or rock gardens with creeping phlox, sedges, or geraniums.
