Short, clumping grass with tiny drop-like seed heads that “quake” in the wind. Wonderful for naturalizing meadows, along rail fences, or Mediterranean rock gardens. Best in sun or part shade, average soil. Will tolerate light shade. Zone 4-9. Best massed or interplanted with other drought tolerant perennials in a rock garden or meadow.
