Grass Festuca Glauca Cool as Ice

Fine blue foliage with a hint of grey green in spring. Small tight habit with better heat tolerance than other Fescue. Dry, well-drained soil.  Avoid excess fertility.  May have winter dieback if gets waterlogged.  Zone 4-9. Excellent for rock gardens or front of perennial borders.  Pair with pink or blue flowering plants for nice color and texture complement.  Aubretia, saponaria, lavender, artemesia, dianthus, coneflowers.
