Grass Muhlenbergia Capillaris Pink Muhly

Native grass from US southwest. Plant with slender foliage that is nondescript until fall bloom of pink airy flowers. Best in sunny, dry, sandy soil. Will tolerate light shade. Literature is conflicting as to whether we are on the northern edge of its hardiness. Zone 6-9. Best massed to enjoy late summer show. Other dry sun loving plants for spring and early summer effect while you wait.
