Grass Nassella Tenussima Pony Tails Grass

Graceful grass native to Texas and New Mexico, extremely delicate and soft in appearance. Forms a clump of narrow, tightly rolled blades that moves with the slightest breath of wind. Feathery blooms turn buff as they mature. Full sun in average soil.  Once established, drought resistant. Zone 6-10. Middle of the border specimen plant for fall interest and foliage contrast. Plant with sun lovers like coneflowers, black-eyed-susans, agastache, sedum, asters,heliopsis, balloon flowers, garden phlox, and Russian sage.  Or mass several grasses for effect.
