Compact plant with a well-branched habit that will hold up to the weather. Vibrant color. Heat tolerant. Good cut flower. Ordinary garden soil in full sun, tolerant of poor soil. May need minimal watering in hot dry spells. Zone 3-9. Plant in sunny border for reliable summer bloom with boltonia, dianthus, Russian sage, ornamental grasses, echinacea, and sedum.
