This is a wonderful addition to the fall garden. It has narrow, dark-green leaves that makes the shrub look like a shrub during spring and summer. In fall, Wow ! Bright golden-yellow flowers cover this plant in the fall. Full sun in well drained soil. Do not spoil it with excessive water and fertilizer or it may lodge a bit. Zone 5-10. Bright long blooming plants for the back of the border or meadow garden. Especially useful in combination with large ornamental grasses. Deer and rabbit resistant. Helianthus are native over much of the US.
