A interesting hybrid from Honeyhill Farms. Plants form a low evergreen clump of shiny blue-tinged leaves. A hybrid of H. niger and H. argutifolius. Beautiful 2 1/2 inch, white, cup shaped flowers with large centers of gold tipped stamens. Shade to partial shade in alkaline soil. Do not fertilize in summer during their resting period, mulch and fertilize in fall for best bud count in spring. Deer resistant. Plant in shady borders or light woodlands. CAUTION - harmful if eaten/Skin irritant.
