Heuchera Obsidian

Deep, dark purple, almost black foliage forms a mound of cup-shaped leaves.  In early summer they are topped by big clusters of tiny white blooms.  Fairly vigorous grower. Partial shade-shade in well-drained alkaline organic soil.  North American native parents.  Zone 3-8. Excellent plants for the front of the perennial border or among trees and shrubs. Smaller cultivars also good for containers and rock gardens.   Great paired with other heucheras or lime foliage. Deer Resistant.
