Very striking sport of the popular โHalcyonโ. This medium sized hosta has powdery blue leaves with bright creamy edges. Easy to grow, long-lived plants. They perform best in a shady spot with evenly moist soil, but will do well in a shady dry spot if well mulched. Miniature hostas perform well in mixed containers. Zone 3-9. Bold dramatic foliage plants for the shaded gardens. They leaf out rather late, leaving open spots in the early spring for bulbs or spring ephemerals like shooting stars, virginia bluebells, merry bells, and snowdrop amemone. Use large hostas for specimen plants, medium hostas for groundcovers, and small leaf hostas for rock gardens or containers. Combine with ferns, lungworts, and woodland phlox, and hardy geraniums.
