Hosta Hybrid First Blush

A red leafed hosta developed by Bob Solberg. It has red petioles.  In the spring, the leaf between the veins will begin to “blush” red from the tip of the leaf down toward the base. Long lived, easy to grow plants in filtered sunlight to full shade. Grows best in rich, moist soil but tolerant of dry shade.  Zone 3-8.
