Hosta Munchkin Fire

A new gold hosta for the miniature garden!  A fountain of narrow gold leaves sprays out of the ground and the gold color stays all summer.  Great for troughs and fairy gardens. Long lived plants. Grow best in rich, moist, but well drained soil in filtered sunlight. Mixing and abundance of organic matter into the soil when planting and then mulching over the years keeps hostas looking their best. Water during periods of drought and protect from slugs. Hostas emerge late in spring so interplant with spring flowering bulbs and ephemeral wildflowers.
