Hosta So Sweet

Vigouous, vase-shaped hosta.  Glossy green leaves emerge with gold edge that turns slowly white, constantly puts up new leaves so there is always gold and white edged leaves present. Sun tolerant. Long lived plants. Grow best in rich, moist, but well drained soil in filtered sunlight. Mixing and abundance of organic matter into the soil when planting and then mulching over the years keeps hostas looking their best. Water during periods of drought and protect from slugs. Hostas emerge late in spring so interplant with spring flowering bulbs and ephemeral wildflowers.
