Add some striking seasonal color to your winter landscape with 'Kelseyi'. This fast growing and highly adaptable Redtwig Dogwood features late spring clusters of white flowers and dense green foliage that come fall, turns attractive shades of red. Once those deciduous leaves drop, its time to appreciate the landscape's winter glory with 'Kelseyi's' vibrant red stems. This Redtwig Dogwood makes an excellent border, and a nice addition to naturalistic plantings. Additionally, because of its ability to handle wet soils consider planting this shrub along bodies of water, or in zone 2 of a rain garden, where several inches of water are held both during and immediately after a rain event.
Full sun - part shade. Rich, moist-wet, well-draining soil. Zone 3-8.
Attracts pollinators including birds and butterflies, deer resistant.
Though pruning is unnecessary, the best stem color occurs on younger stems. Therefore, consider pruning out old stems to maintain vibrancy.
