Dwarf cultivar with thick tufted masses of linear foliage 8-12â tall growing from a fat corm. Numerous showy flowering spikes on stiff stems make this a great cut and butterfly flower. Plant in full sun in average well drained soil. Very drought tolerant. Zone 3-9. Plant in the front of a sunny border with ornamental grasses, coneflower, Mexican hat, daisies, garden phlox, autumn joy sedum, and balloon flowers.
