Easy to grow plant for late summer blue. Flowering spikes rise from a medium green rosette of velvety leaves. Attracts hummingbirds even though it’s not red. Allow to reseed. Tall spikes of blue tubular flowers. Adapts to any good garden soil in full sun or partial shade.  Zone 3-8. Plant in borders, wild gardens, moist meadows, and streamsides with red cardinal flower, yellow goldenrod, and joe pye weed. Deer Resistant.   Attracts Hummingbirds, Butterflies & birds.
