Prolific blooming, compact plant producing a close-to-the ground mound of well branched stems and dusty silver green, serrated leaves. Lavender spikes of flowers bloom all summer long. Well drained soil in full sun. Good for dry sunny sites. Zone 4-9. Useful for separating strong colors in borders. Very effective when used with stone walls or as an edging plant. Great in herb, wild or rock gardens. Plant with oenothera, coreopsis, garden phlox, yarrow, salvia, autumn joy sedum.
