Peony Tenuifolia Fern Leaf Peony

Very desirable species with bright green, elegant, ferny foliage, finely cut into filament like segments and deep red double blooms. Moist, loamy, humus rich soil in full sun or light shade. Mulch and feed with well rotted manure when leaf growth starts. Avoid disturbing their roots. Combine in beds with early spring bulbs, expanding peony foliage will shroud the declining bulb foliage.
