Penstemon Prairie Dusk

Long lived perennial with basal tufts of glossy, narrow, green foliage that sends up stiff stems with spikes of slightly nodding tubular flowers. Does best when in full sun to part shade in average well drained soil.  Native to the southwestern United States. Plant for their bright color in beds with cushion spurge, daisies, gypsophila, oneothera, lambs ear, and yarrow.
