A tall summer phlox with clean lance shaped leaves on stiff stems that hold huge domed clusters of very fragrant long lasting blooms. Plant in average to rich, evenly moist, well drained soil in full sun or light shade. Prefers a site with good air circulation. Use to naturalize a woods edge or meadow garden. Plant in formal gardens with Russian sage, daylilies, asters, salvias, heliopsis, yarrow and veronica.
