Native woodland phlox, evergreen, mat forming plant with spreading prostrate shoots that root and spoon shaped leaves. Use in the front of the garden. Sun Tolerant, morning sun/afternoon shade. Plant in humusy, moist to average well-drained soil. Is drought tolerant. Good for a ground cover. Excellent ground cover for shaded situations, and woodland edge. Plant with spring bulbs, hostas, ferns, and hellebores and tiarellas.
