Platycodon Grandiflorus Mariesii Blue

Short plant with thick fleshy roots that produce a clump of upright succulent stems with serrated elliptical leaves with a silvery blue cast. Balloon like buds open into double flowers. Large rich blue bell shaped flowers opening from balloon shaped buds. Average to rich well drained soil in full sun to part shade. New shoots are slow to emerge in spring. Zone 4-9. Deer resistant.
