Dwarf compact plant with large blooms. Plants produce upright succulent stems with whorls of long bluish green egg-shaped leaves. Kids love the balloon-shaped buds. Average soil in full sun or light shade. Slow to emerge in spring. Mark their location so you don’t dig into clumps by mistake. Plant in the front of the border or in containers with short dianthus, blue or white clips, rock rose, dwarf daisies, yarrows, and iris.
