Drought tolerant, heavy blooming plant. A compact ,branching variety with stiff sparsely leafy stems bearing numerous maroon red flowers with a striking gold edge. Plant in well drained ordinary soil in full sun. Sunny border, or wildflower garden plant that produces hundreds of flowers. Plant with achillea, echinops, heliopsis, linum, coreopsis, and lychnis.
