Semi-shade salvia. Spectacular bold foliage effect in the garden with wide clumps of large hairy green arrow shaped leaves. Clump is adorned with short flowering stems in late summer. Plant in a woodland shady setting in any well drained to dry soil. Great naturalizing plant for drier shade with tiarella, iris cristata, hosta, epimedium, euphorbia robbiae, and hardy geraniums.
