A diminutive but very reliable salvia. Compact, tidy clump of triangular leaves is smothered in stiff spikes of violet blue flowers. Exquisitely petite. Plant in well drained, sandy or loamy soils in full sun or light shade. Extremely drought tolerant. Great container plant. Dainty salvia for small spaces, edging, and containers with its compact neat habit and constant bloom.  Nice paired with dianthus, ‘Silver mound’ artemisia, or in fron of taller summer perennials.
