Stokesia Colorwheel

Highly decorative border plant with stiff branching stems, and lance-shaped dark green leaves. Flowers are cornflower-like, flat, deeply cut and fold up when spent. Great cut flower. Very adaptable plant growing in full sun to light shade in average well drained soil. A strong border performer and great planted on gentle slopes.  Plant with dianthus, coreopsis, salvia, lambs ear, low artemesia, liatris, and oenothera.
