Stokesia Peachie‘s Pick

Very showy border bloomer with a more upright habit. Dark green, glossy, thick leaves that produce stiff branching stems bearing large, flat, cornflower like lavender blue blooms that fold up rather then fade. Blooms longer and later. Very adaptable plant growing in full sun to light shade in average well drained soil. A very hardy, strong border performer and  looks great planted on gentle slopes. Plant with coreopsis, dianthus, salvia, lambs ear, liatris, low growing artemesia, and oenothera.
