A low-growing shrub with clusters of flowers in spring, followed by edible dark purple-black fruit displayed against brilliant red fall foliage. The ‘Low Scape’ Series is derived from the native Aronia melanocarpa. With good erosion control consider planting this shrub on slopes or in areas of high erosion. This plant also works well in rain gardens due to its ability withstand prolonged inundated conditions. Their low growing form lends them to be used in Mass them for a foundation planting or the front of flower beds.
Full sun- part shade. Any moist-wet, well-draining soil. Zone 4-8.
