Tricyrtis Formosana Dark Beauty

Fall blooming  plant with exotic orchid like flowers. Compact upright plant with large,  green leaves held horizontally and ladder like on long graceful arching stems. Plant in evenly moist, slightly acid, well drained soil in lightly shaded border. Spreads easily. Best planted where their amazing blooms can be admired at close range. Greatest effect achieved when planted in large masses. Plant with hellebore, hosta, ferns, solomon seal, tiarella, woodland phlox, hardy geraniums, and woodland asters.
