Spreading variety that creeps around rocks and paving stones. Shiny green leaves, often flushed with burgundy spreads to form a low mound. Foliage turns purple in fall.  Vibrant flowers attract hummingbirds.Thrives in full sun in average soil. Plant as ‘living mulch’ under trees and shrubs. Makes a distinctive edging plant for a sunny border, and it’s at home between the stones of a dry-laid terrace. Great sunny rock garden plant.
