Zauschneria Orange Carpet

Heat and drought tolerant plant that puts on a spectacular display of blooms for months that butterflies and hummingbirds love. A low spreading sub-shrub with green leaves and bright orange blooms. Plant in full sun in any well drained soil. Needs very little water.  Native to southwest United States. Great rock garden plant or front of sunny border or walk for its abundant bright blooms. Plant with sedum, thyme, cerastium, dianthus, coreopsis, and linum.
