'Sugartina Crystalina' is a dwarf Clethra that features deep dark green glossy foliage on a dense form with out requireing pruning to maintain. In mid-summer fragrant white flowers spike bloom creamy white. Plus, this clethra offers even more ornamental value come fall when foliage gains attractive golden-yellow color. An excellent option for borders, foundations, woodland garden or margins, wildlife gardens, and due to its small size its a great fir for narrow beds and small gardens. Additionally, since this shrub tolerate several inches of standing water both during and immediately after a rain event, consider "Sugartina Crystalina' for zone 2 of a rain garden. 

Full sun - part shade. Best fall color and flower count in full sun. Average, moist, well-draining soil. Zone 4-9.

Blooms on new wood - if needed, prune in late winter/early spring.
