Evergreen beauty for shade. Each glossy leathery leaf is splotched with a large, luminous yellow spot in the center and starry dots in the margins. This warm climate evergreen may survive in Zone 6 in a protected area but is reliably hardy in USDA zone 7. Shade tolerant. Requires moist but well-drained soil. Trim to shape in the spring if desired. Can be used in hedges, borders, foundation plantings, and screening.
