Clumping green foliage is topped with upright spikes of pink flowers in the late summer through fall. Excellent border plant for moist locations. Hummingbird magnets. Spikes of pinkish red flowers are held above the foliage. Moist soil in sun or part shade. Will tolerate soil qualities from poor to fertile. Can also be used as a bog plant, border plant or for mass planting.
