Full sized flowers on a dwarf plant, the Pugster Series blooms nonstop from early summer through frost. This butterfly bush’s sturdy stems means better winter survival compared to other dwarf bushes. True-blue flowers, each with a tiny yellow-orange eye in the center.
Full sun. Any soil that is moist, well draining. Drought tolerant. Deer and rabbit resistant. Zone 5-9.
Deer and rabbit resistant, attracts butterflies and other pollinators.
Grow as a cutback shrub. I suggest cutting the plant back to about a foot from the ground in early spring as new growth begins.
