Tight compact mats of silvery foliage bear many erect stems with multiple buds that open to form double, fringed, white fragrant flowers. Blooms earlier than other dianthus. Fragrant, fringed, double, pure lavender pink flowers. Easy to grow in a sunny site with average, to sandy, well drained soil. Does not like a site that is wet over winter. Zone 6-9.
