A stately giant, native plant growing clumps of stout, deep purple stems with long, lance shaped leaves arranged in whorls and topped with lilac clustered flower heads. Large clusters of pinkish flowers sit atop the foliage attracting butterflies and pollinators. Plant in moist, well drained soil in full sun to partial shade. Zone 4-9. Deer and rabbit resistant.
