Delphinium Dasante Blue

Basal mound of deeply divided leaves rise on stiff stems and produce long, broad spikes of flowers.  Flower stalks are hollow and may need staking, or protection from the wind. Very rich, deep blue flowers accented by a pop of white in the center of each flower. Prefers average to moist, humus rich soil in full sun. Delphiniums do best on basic soil, so add lime if your soil is acidic.  Vigorous grower, tolerant of heat and humidity. Deer and rabbit resistant, attracts hummingbirds and other pollinators.
