This Proven Winners introduction of dwarf oakleaf hydrangea has large flowers held above the foliage. Best in sun to part shade in average to moist well drained soil. The plant blooms on old wood meaning the buds are set in the late summer for the following year. Prune after bloom to control height or form as needed. Beautiful maroon fall color and exfoliating bark provide fall and winter interest. Hardy in Zones 5-9.
