There are plenty of reasons of why your going to want to plant this Ninebark. Upright stems have a vase shape effect and gracefully support small ridged leaves, adding immense texture to your space. With the darkest, and most dramatic color yet, the foliage of 'Summer Wine Black' is an almost black burgundy that contrasts oh so elegantly against the clusters of white flowers that bloom along the stems in spring.
Attracts pollinators.
Full sun. Average, moist, well-draining soil. Zone 3-7.
Best to avoid pruning Ninebark except for removing death or damage, as cuts will cause brnaching out and detract from the natural habit.
