Lilium Oriental Black Beauty

Low maintenance plant that is very hardy and showy. Plant grows from a bulb as a tall, stiff stalk clothed with narrow grass like leaves and a terminal cluster of nodding lilies with spots. Nodding, fragrant lilies with dark red, re-curved petals and white edges. Plant in full sun or part shade in humus rich, moist but well drained soil. Plant bulbs 2 or 3 times as deep as the bulb is tall. Bulbs can be left undisturbed for many years to multiply naturally.
