'Blue Pacific' is traditionally found on dunes along the coast line, making it the groundcover for dry, sandy soils and areas where salt is a problem, or where erosion control is a must. Fragrant, short, blue-green needles hold their color in winter better than most evergreen groundcovers due to their increased resilience against winter injury. Though a bit of a slower grower, the density of "Blue Pacific's' foliage will your space with solid oceanic color. Dark blackish berry-like seed cones gain a silvery-blue as they mature and make for a good wildlife food source.
Deer and rabbit resistant, high salt and heat tolerance, wildlife food source, erosion control
