This perennial produces a large, rounded mound of coarse, deeply veined, serrated leaves grown in whorled groups. A bold architectural plant with tall flower stalks bearing clusters of rose pink flowers. Plant in full to partial shade in moist, organic soil. Deer resistant. Zone 4-9.
