This female selection of evergreen Japanese laurel has lovely evergreen golden and dark green speckled leaves. Flowers in mid - late spring and if planted with a male pollinator, 'Marmarota' will produce large red berries in fall. This Acuba makes a great specimen in that shady location in your landscape.
Part shade- full shade. Average, moist-drier, well-draining soil. Protect from high winds. Zone 7-9.
Attracts pollinators, air pollution tolerant, drought tolerant once established.
