Fragrant purple/blue flower spikes extend up and out from this rounded to upright-spreading shrub composed of dark green, fragrant leaves. Foliage turns yellow in fall. A wonderful specimen, or addition to borders, foundations and butterfly gardens.
Full sun. Average, moist, well-draining soil. Protect from winter winds. Zone 6-9.
Attracts pollinators including butterflies and hummingbirds, deer resistant, drought and salt tolerant.
Blooms on new wood - prune in early spring.
