Cotinus Coggygria Dusky Maiden

A smaller Smokebush with deep burgundy foliage that turns shades of gold, orange, and scarlet red in fall. Burgundy-pink cloud-like panicles bloom and last for weeks, both fresh and dried. An excellent specimen, and can also be used in borders, informal hedges, or screens.

Full sun. Average, moist, well-draining soils. Zone 6-8.

Deer, drought, and clay soil tolerant.

Pruning: Death and damage can be pruned at any time, and pruning for shape should be done minimally. Blooms on old wood - prune immediately after blooming.
